The Fashion School x Primark Cares Partnership
Free Workshops at Primark Manchester
Primark has partnered with The Fashion School to host FREE, monthly upcycling, and repair workshops, at the Primark Manchester Market Street store. These free workshops form part of the Primark Cares strategy.
Our fashion workshops were launched in 2023. They run in a dedicated studio space in Primark Manchester and are designed for children and teenagers aged 11-17. The aim is to teach sewing, pattern cutting, and design skills to promote garment longevity and sustainable fashion choices. Led by The Fashion School founder Caroline Gration and her team of expert tutors, the initiative supports Primark's goal of helping customers make clothes last longer, aligning with broader circularity goals.

Booking a place at Primark Manchester
Our free workshops at Primark Manchester are very popular and places get snapped up quickly. Workshops dates are released a couple of weeks in advance via our newsletter and Instagram. A waiting list is available once sessions are full.
Free taster sessions
The Fashion School doesn't just run free workshops at Primark Manchester. Free taster sessions are available at our dedicated studio in Chelsea. During the school holidays the Fashion School also runs free Holiday and Food Workshops for children (age 9 - 14) on free school meals in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
